LIAISE_ELS-PLANS_UKMO_Doppler-Lidar-Stare_L1

The dataset contains stare profiles executed at a 90 degree elevation containing: Time Azimuth Range gate Doppler velocity Intensity Beta (backscatter) These measurements were taken at Els Plans, Spain (41.590111N, 1.029363 W, 334m) using a Halo Photonics Doppler lidar. Data were plotted and checked during the campaign. The stare data are raw, and do not contain quality control flags. Data taken at less than 100m range may be inaccurate. Additionally, data are only reliable when there is sufficient dust in the atmosphere to provide a good signal return. Hence, data above the boundary layer where there is little dust may be inaccurate. Stares were executed at every 1.44 seconds when not in wind profile mode.
