In the related article "Validation of the GAMMA-PC Methodology for Dry Cask Loading Optimizations," we evaluate the performance of the optimization method GAMMA-PC against the real-world loading configuration used at Zion Nuclear Power Station for the selection of used fuel assemblies for dry cask storage. GAMMA-PC has been implemented in a Python package for integration with UNF-ST&DARDS, a database maintained by the Used Fuel Systems group at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. This DataSet contains the translation of the real loading configuration into the optimization framework and contains results produced by GAMMA-PC for Zion under two scenarios: 1. A like-to-like scenario, where the optimization parameters match those used in reality by ZionSolutions, including the same general loading timeline (from about Jan. 2014 to Jan. 2015), 2. A what-if scenario, where the optimization timeline was extended to a 10 year period from 2005 to 2015. The results provided here focus on the decision variable values found during the optimization and their translation into objective vectors in alignment with the mathematical formulation found within the associated paper.
