LITHOSPHERE_TEMPERATURE.pptx: slides I PowerPoints 2. dir papers_thermal_structure: contain some selected papers on thermal structure of the lithosphere. The attendees can have a look at Cammarano and Guerri (2017) before the lecture 3. dir PYTHON_SCRIPTS => 3a. GEOTHERMS: - jupyter notebooks and python scripts: cooling_models-oceans_lithosphere and steady-state_continental_geotherms - informal notes on The Heat equation. The attendees can read these note before the lectures 3b. LITHOSPHERIC_THERMAL_STRUCTURE: - Jupiter notebooks and python scripts to read, plot and analyze the global thermal lithospheric models by Cammarano and Guerri (2017) - 1.lithosphere_T_structure - 2.lithosphere_C_effects - 3. radiogenic_heat - 4.spectral_analysis - all_lithosphere_pyro: 11 seismic models considered in Cammarano and Guerri 2017, interpreted assuming no compositional variations (pyrolite is used) - all_lithosphere_regi: the same models interpreted with a simple compositional structure for continental lithospheric mantle - continental_procedure: file with result of inversion of crustal radiogenic heat to receoncile seismically inferred temperature with surface heat_flow FABIO CAMMARANO -- OCTOBER 13 2024 ##########################################################################################################################################################
