Dataset for "Site-Level Variation in Planktonic Bacterial Communities and Predicted Functional Potential in a Subtropical River"

This dataset contains processed bacterial 16S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing data collected from six sampling sites in the Biandan River, China. The dataset includes amplicon sequence variant (ASV) abundance tables, representative sequences, SILVA 138.1 taxonomic assignments, rarefied feature tables, phylogenetic data, alpha- and beta-diversity outputs, and PICRUSt2-predicted functional profiles. Sequence processing and downstream diversity analyses were conducted using QIIME 2, with ASVs inferred using DADA2. These files are provided to support the reproducibility and reuse of the sequencing-based analyses reported in the associated study. Original demultiplexed FASTQ reads are not included.
