Curated assembly (mRNA: v.1.2.2) of <i>Cryptocotyle lingua</i> transcriptome was reduced by removing the low-expressed and xenogenic transcripts from the raw assembly. A local BLASTn approach was performed to filter out potential xenogenic contaminating sequences: the host-mollusk <i>Littorina littorea</i> transcriptome of hemocytes and kidney (NCBI TSA: GGCG00000000.1) and human genome. SILVA rRNA database was also used to search other potential xenogenic contaminations. Bio-Project: PRJNA646866.<br>
