Archaic variants, suicide and depression
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains two gene lists representing the overlap between Neanderthal-introgressed genomic regions and genes associated with psychiatric phenotypes: (1) 36 genes at the intersection of suicide risk and Neanderthal ancestry, and (2) 112 genes at the intersection of major depressive disorder and Neanderthal ancestry. Gene lists were compiled from large-scale genome-wide association studies (GWAS) including the Psychiatric Genomics Consortium and International Suicide Genetics Consortium, cross-referenced with high-confidence Neanderthal introgression maps. These genes showed significant enrichment for Neanderthal ancestry (suicide: OR=1.98, p=0.002; depression: OR=1.91, p=4.15×10⁻⁷) and were used for pathway enrichment, positive selection, and functional regulatory analyses. Files included: overlap_suicide_neanderthal.csv (36 genes)overlap_depression_neanderthal.csv (112 genes)
