Transcriptomic analysis of β-hydroxybutyrate-treated B16 cells

Murine melanoma B16 cells were treated with 10 mM β-hydroxybutyrate (BHB) (B16-BHB)or vehicle(Veh)(B16-Veh) under a low-glucose (5 mM) culture condition for 24 hours (n=4) . Total RNA was isolated firom cells using TRlzol reagent (Invitrogen) and quantified with aNanoDrop ND-2000 spectrophotometer(Thermo Fisher Scientific). RNA integrity was assessed on an Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer with the RNA 6000 Nano Kit (Agilent Technologies). RNA sequencing was subsequently performed on an lllumina Genome Analyzer llx platform.
