Most distinctive cause of death, by state, 2000-2010

This table contains the underlying data used to make the map in the paper, "The most distinctive causes of death by state", published in <em>Preventing Chronic Disease</em> on May 14, 2015. It is a comma-separated file containing the following fields: state, cause of death, number of deaths, state age-adjusted death rate, national age-adjusted death rate, relative risk (i.e. ratio of state-to-national rates), lower 95% confidence level around the relative risk, and upper 95% confidence level around the relative risk.
