Monopoly is a widely-known board game in which the ultimate goal is to drive opponents into bankruptcy. As with all games, players typically need elements of both skill and luck. However, some games are known for needing more skill than others. In a 2020 survey conducted by YouGov, 46 percent of respondents in the United States stated that Monopoly was a game of luck rather than skills. In contrast, 42 percent of respondents believed that Monopoly was a game of skill.
