Comparison of mRNA expression of IgG receptors in podocytes, ovarian cells and leukocytes

Non-immune kidney cells, podocytes, express mRNA of genes encoding all known receptors for Fc fragment of immunoglobulin G (FcγRs). We compared the level of this mRNA expression in podocytes to its level in leukocytes and other non-immune epithelial cells (ovarian cells). We have also compared the level of mRNA expression of FcγR-coding genes in podocytes cultured in standard and high glucose level, mimicking hyperglycemia in diabetic patients.
