资源简介:
It is known that the intraparietal sulcus (IPS) can be subdivided into different modules based on their cytoarchitectonic organization. We here used co-activation based parcellation to identify distinct functional submodules within human bilateral IPS based on their task-based co-activation profile across neuroimaging studies. That is, left and right IPS, were used as seed regions and for all voxels in these regions of interest the co-activation profile across neuroimaging experiments reported in the Brainmap Database was calculated. Then, the voxels were clustered based on their co-activation profile using K-means clustering. For left and right IPS the most stable cluster solution was five cluster. The submodules can be used to compare e.g. functional imaging results with the parcels to get a better understanding where in the IPS an effect is found.
