Dysdera silvatica Genome sequencing and assembly

To shed light on the genetic architecture of a highly diversified group, here we present the de novo assembly and functional annotation of the genome of the Canary Island endemic spider Dysdera silvatica Schmidt, 1981 (NCBI Taxon ID: 477319).This genome is the first genomic initiative within its family and only the second within the Synespermiata, one of the main spider lineages.It is intended to become both a reference genome for further genomic studies on adaptive radiations and a representative genome for ongoing studies
