资源简介:
This repository contains the data files and R code required to reproduce all analyses, tables, and figures reported in the associated manuscript. The analyses evaluate relationships between body size, tooth crown height, tooth position, nursery association, and paleotemperature using linear models, mixed-effects models, Bayesian models, and Monte Carlo resampling. All analyses are run from a single R script and write outputs to a standardized folder structure.Contents:Data files:Data.csvCore dataset used for body length–temperature analyses (formation, temperature, total body length, nursery).Compilation.xlsxTooth-level dataset including crown height, tooth position, jaw, formation, nursery association, and paleotemperature estimates.Tooth_Position_Specific_CrownHeight_BodyLength_Regression_Data.csvTooth position–specific regression equations and associated source data relating crown height to body length. Provided to allow replication and verification of reported relationships.R code:R script.RSingle script that:• creates the folder structure• loads data• runs all analyses (plots, time-bin tests, OLS, mixed-effects, Bayesian MCMCglmm, Monte Carlo resampling)• saves tables, figures, and model objects• logs session information for reproducibility• uses only relative pathsHow to run:Set the working directory to the project root (or open as an RStudio Project).Ensure the following files exist:./data/Data.csv./data/Compilation.xlsxRun:source("R script.R")All results will be saved automatically in the ./outputs/ directory.Software requirements:R version 4.2 or later recommended.Required R packages:ggplot2, dplyr, readr, readxl, lme4, lmerTest, performance, sjPlot,MCMCglmm, coda, tidyr, tibble, stringr, patchworkExact package versions used are recorded in outputs/SESSION_INFO.txt.Reproducibility notes:All analyses use fixed random seeds where applicable.Bayesian models include convergence diagnostics and posterior summaries.Monte Carlo resampling propagates paleotemperature uncertainty using minimum and maximum estimates. All outputs are generated directly from the provided data and code.Citation:Please cite the associated manuscript and this Figshare dataset if you use these data or code.
