资源简介:
This repository contains the data analyzed in the study "Aesthetic Chills Modulate Reward Learning in Anhedonic Depression" by Jain et al. (2022). The study investigated whether experiencing aesthetic chills could enhance reward learning and positive affect in individuals with elevated depressive symptoms and anhedonia. The data includes:Participant demographic information (age, sex, ethnicity)Questionnaire scores on the Beck Depression Inventory (BDI) and Snaith-Hamilton Pleasure Scale (SHAPS) used to assess depression severity and anhedoniaProbabilistic Reward Task (PRT) data before and after exposure to chill-eliciting videos, including reward bias and discriminability metricsSelf-reported ratings of emotional valence, arousal, chills intensity, goosebumps, etc.Classification of participants into High Anhedonia, Low Anhedonia, and Control groupsThe data is anonymized to remove any personally identifiable information. Variables are labelled clearly and a codebook is provided to define abbreviations and explain the analysis procedures. The repository structure promotes reproducibility by including both the raw data and analysis code. This data enables further research into non-pharmacological aesthetic interventions for depression and specifically targeting reward processing deficits. It can facilitate metanalysis and replication studies on the phenomenon of chills. The availability of both pre and post intervention metrics is valuable for computational modeling work as well.
