NIW in ECS

Observed NIC.mat------Observed NIWs at the East China Sea. The Near Inertial Current (NIC) data was extracted from the observed horizontal velocity using a bandpass filter in the frequency range between 0.8 f and 1.2 f (here f represents the local inertial frequency, which is 0.9997 cycles per day in our observation site).The following four files are the ROMS (Regional Ocean Modeling System) model results near the mooring location. Each file contains 9*9 horizontal grids and 40 vertical levels. ROMS_typhoon_tide: forced with synthetic typhoon and TPXO tides;ROMS_typhoon_only: forced with synthetic typhoon without tides;ROMS_tide_only: forced with NCEP/NCAR winds and TPXO tides;ROMS_control: forced with NCEP/NCAR winds.
