Sequencing of mussel(Mytilus galloprovincialis) transcriptome exposed to PSTs

Paralytic shellfish toxins (PSTs) are an increasingly important source of pollution. Bivalves, as the main transmission medium, accumulate and metabolise PSTs while protecting themselves from damage. We exposed Mytilus galloprovincialis to PSTs during natural blooms from April to May and monitored the resulting PSTs contents. Samples from elimination processes were collected for transcriptome analysis.
