We have identified PARP4 as a novel modulator of lung adenocarcinoma from a tumor sequencing study on what is currently the largest East Asian lung adenocarcinoma cohort (PMID: 32015526). We identified hnRNPM as a novel interaction partner of PARP4 and wanted to determine the role of hnRNPM and PARP4 in regulating splicing. We thus performed long-read Nanopore sequencing to study this.
