Soil Temperature measurements were taken at each Networked Info-mechanical Systems (NIMS) grid plot. The Systems Ecology Lab (SEL) at the University of Texas El Paso Taylor Temperature Probe was used to take measurements between the matted trail and each white board at every meter at about a 10 cm depth once on July 25th in summer 2012 at Toolik Lake, Alaska.
