Most funded startups in Finland 2016

This statistic ranks the most funded startup companies in Finland in 2016, by funds raised. A Finnish startup called Visedo, specialized in electric propulsion systems, raised a funding of nearly 21 million U.S. dollars in 2016. The second most funded startup in Finland in the respective year was a waste and recycling services company Enevo with raised funds of 16.6 million U.S. dollars, followed by a consumer behavior analytics startup Verto Analytics with a funding of 0.5 million U.S. dollars less. Fourth most funded startup company was a food delivery application Wolt which raised a funding of 12.5 million U.S. dollars in Finland in 2016, followed by an OpenSource database MariaDB at 12 million. The total startup funding in Finland in the year 2016 amounted to 269.9 million U.S. dollars, seeing an increase of 33.38 percent compared to the year 2015.
