Assessments for Measuring Young Children's Long-Term Relationships with Social Robots
Social robots are being increasingly developed for long-term interactions with children. However, there are few validated assessments for measuring young children's relationships with social robots. We provide several social/relational assessments for measuring young children's relationships with social robots. <br>These assessments were pilot-tested in the spring of 2017. The following paper presents the results of the pilot study for the Inclusion of Other in Self (IOS) task, the Social-Relational Interview, the Narrative Description task, and the Targeted Self-disclosure task with children aged 4-7 years. The results showed that children could appropriately respond to these assessments and that they had high internal reliability. You are free to use or adapt these assessments. Kory Westlund, J.
