THE IMPORTANCE OF EDUCATION AT SCHOOL: THE EXAMPLE OF UZBEKISTAN

School education is a fundamental element in the development of personality and the sustainable development of society. It influences the intellectual, social, and economic aspects of the life of individual and the life of the whole nation. In the context of globalization and rapid technological progress, the importance of education is growing significantly, becoming one of the key factors in national competitiveness. This article examines the importance of school education in a global context and analyzes the education system in Uzbekistan based on modern scientific research and analytical reports. Particular attention is paid to educational policy, ongoing reforms, issues of education quality, and its impact on economic development. Based on the analysis, it is concluded that, despite significant achievements in ensuring access to education, Uzbekistan still needs further improvement of the system, particularly in terms of the quality of instruction, teacher training, and the practical focus of the educational process.
