Clinical validation of fixed blood host-response mRNA assays in acute care: systematic review data and code

Derived review-level data and reproducible code supporting a systematic review of fixed multigene blood host-response mRNA assays for infection discrimination and etiologic classification in adult acute care. The final evidence set comprises 43 reports, 44 clinical patient-source components, 40 main clinical evidence units, 35 units retained in the overlap-restricted analysis, 107 eligible analysis contrasts, 21 principal contrasts (3 infection discrimination and 18 etiologic classification), 30 principal operating points, and 59 principal metric results. It includes 6 same-point sensitivity/specificity pairs and 4 complete 2x2 tables. The archive includes the protocol and amendment log, search and screening methods, screening-validation records, eligibility and study characteristics, report-to-patient-source linkage, QUADAS-3 version 1.2 assessments, figure and table source data, and reproducible analysis code. Licensed database exports, copyrighted full texts, and patient-level personal information are excluded.
