Data and code for: "Climatic Factors Influence Children's Lateral Facial Profiles in Northern China"

This repository contains the analysis code and anonymized data for the paper “Climatic Factors Influence Children’s Lateral Facial Profiles in Northern China”. The dataset includes geometric morphometric shape variables (principal components PC1–PC74) derived from lateral facial photographs of 962 Han Chinese children aged 2–15 years from seven cities in northern China, along with corresponding climatic data (temperature, sunshine duration, precipitation, and wind speed) and demographic information (age and gender). R scripts are provided to reproduce statistical analyses, including linear mixed-effects models and figure generation. Raw facial images and landmark coordinates are not shared to protect participant privacy.
