Mont Blanc (CDD16-C01) ice core NO3- concentrations and age model
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains raw and processed measurements of nitrate (NO₃⁻) concentrations from the CDD16-C01 ice core, drilled at Col du Dôme, Mont Blanc (French Alps) in 2016. Analyses were performed using a Continuous Flow Analysis (CFA) system on the PANDA analytical platform (https://panda.osug.fr/Le-module-chimie-144). The dataset includes: The density profile, calculated from weighting and measuring the ice core sections The high resolution (CFA) NO₃⁻ profile in cm, cm water equivalent, and year The discrete ionic chromatography measurements from the deepest 5 meters The age model based on layer counting with depth at centimeter resolution and its associated depth water equivalent and age (year before september 2016). The age model from the 3D glacier flow model is also included (Gilbert et al., 2014, https://doi.org/10.1002/2014JF003199) For calibration details, analytical procedures, and full scientific interpretation, please refer to: Lamothe et al. (in review), 1000 years of Nitrogen Oxide Sources in Western Europe: Evidence from Nitrogen Stable Isotopes (δ15N) of Nitrate in a Mont Blanc Ice Core, Journal of Geophysical Research – Atmospheres.
