The value added of the industrial sector in the Philippines registered a 3.6 percent growth between 2022 and 2023. This was lower than the growth rate registered by the sector between 2021 and 2022. The industry's contribution to the Philippine economy was lowest in 2020, which contracted by about 13 percent.
