SH-SY-5Y cells, transiently transfected with empty vector (EV) or PKCδ plasmid, were treated with 0.07 µM etoposide or 1 mM BSO for 24 h. Where indicated, cells were pre-treated with rottlerin for 30 min. DNA fragmentation (standard) and oxidation (fpg) were evaluated by comet test.
