NRS-2084 | Transportation registers (colonial) [Cockatoo Island Penal Establishment]

The following details are usually given; name, ship, date of arrival, religion, trade, age, hair, eyes, complexion, height, remarks, particulars of original conviction (where and when tried, offence and sentence), colonial convictions (offence, when and where tried, sentence). Each entry also includes a history of the prisoner from the date of his arrival at Cockatoo Island. This history shows arrival, death, discharge, punishments, subsequent cancellation of tickets of leave, death etc. Apr 1847-Jan 1849, Feb 1852- Feb 1855, Apr 1857-Mar 1860, Jul 1869 (4/6571-75). 5 vols.
