Single-cell RNA sequencing of ovaries from FSHR T449A knock-in mice following OHSS induction and treatment with FSHR and LHR inhibitors

This dataset comprises single-cell RNA sequencing data from ovarian tissue of immature (5-week-old) female FSHR T449A knock-in mice subjected to an ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS) model and subsequent pharmacological intervention. The OHSS was induced by consecutive daily intraperitoneal injections of 20 IU PMSG for four days, followed by a single injection of 1 IU hCG on the fifth day. To investigate therapeutic mechanisms, separate groups of OHSS-induced mice were treated with either the LHR antagonist LUF5771 or the FSHR antagonist peptide hFSH-beta-(33-53). Drug administration (20 mg/kg, intraperitoneal) began 24 hours after the hCG injection and continued for two consecutive days.The sequencing data includes the following groups: an OHSS group (n=1 biological replicate, pooled ovaries from one mouse), a LUF5771-treated group (n=2 biological replicates; each replicate represents pooled ovaries from two mice), and an hFSH-beta-(33-53)-treated group (n=2 biological replicates; each replicate represents pooled ovaries from two mice). Ovarian tissues were collected for single-cell library preparation 24 hours after the final drug or vehicle administration. This data resource is provided to facilitate the study of cellular heterogeneity and transcriptomic changes in the ovary under conditions of pathological ovarian hyperstimulation and following targeted inhibition of gonadotropin receptors.
