The energy metabolism is linked by several biochemical pathways to epigenetics. Here we wished to find out how treating immortalised hepatocytes with the free fatty acid oleic acid affects genome-wide epigenetic state.Control and oleic acid treated IHH cells from underwent chromatin immunoprecipitation using the Magna ChIP A/G Kit (Merck). DNA was sequenced on an Illumina HiSeq 2x150bp.
