Bathing Water Quality Sites

The dataset shows a list of all bathing water quality sites that are reported on by the Greater Wellington Regional Council Environmental Science team. Both Marine and Freshwater sites are recorded in this dataset. The features also show in the Recreational Water Quality Sites web map and hold links to the corresponding page in the Environmental Monitoring and Research Data Viewer. Site Rating information is held in the SFRG_rating_1213 with five categories listing from Very Good to Poor based on the amount of Enterococcus bacteria in Marine sites and E. coli in Freshwater sites, as depicted by the TYPE field in the data.
