The "Brute force metabarcoding of small Arctic copepods (pilot)" dataset includes raw 18S sequence data used to inquire the trophic interactions of three small Arctic copepods. For the pilot, DNA was extracted from whole specimen (n = 75) of Oithona similis, Microcalanus spp. and Microsetella norvegica, and a short 100-110 bp fragment of the 18S rDNA V7 was sequenced. A detailed explanation of the methods leading to the dataset, and how to use it, may be found in the README. The code used to process the data may be found online: https://github.com/snflo/bruteforce.
