GEOCHEM: Data on sediments, soils, hydrology and rocks in the Antarctic Peninsula region,

Data on sediments (surface and lake cores), soils (surface), hydrology (surface and near surface) and rocks (volcanic and weathering of rock surfaces) in the Antarctic Peninsula region from the Spanish National Research project GEOCHEM (Proyecto PID2021-125778OB-I00) led by CIEMAT. This includes data from Livingston Island (Hurd Peninsula and Byers Peninsula), Deception Island and King George Island (Fildes Peninsula). General information and site descriptions are included for the different data types, physical, chemical and mineralogical composition for sediment and soil data, and chemical and isotope data for hydrogeological characterisation, weathering data for surface rocks, and field and laboratory spectral data is available for land surface covers.
