This dataset is cleaned, processed and aggregated through systematic data entry, which records the monthly export value of each region, industry and destination country for cross-border sales. The variance of the monthly export value of each region is calculated to evaluate the export performance of different regions, so as to assist in assessing the production and export strategies of enterprises in each region. Enterprises in the same industry can use historical data to learn about the peak and off-peak seasons of their industry in a specific country, so as to balance production and export volume.

The specific processing steps are as follows:
Step 1: Count the monthly export value to each destination country for each year in cross-border exports (unit: ten thousand RMB), denote them as x₁, x₂, …, x₁₂ respectively (x₁ represents the export value in January, x₂ for February, and so on), and aggregate to obtain the total annual export value denoted as x.
Step 2: Calculate the monthly average export value x̅ = total annual export value x / 12, retain three decimal places for the result.

Step 4: Classify the destination country/region into three categories based on the calculated variance value:
