Database of MoH primary care clinics with complete information on services from 2015–2023

This dataset compiles monthly administrative data on public primary care facilities in Mexico from January 2015 to December 2023. It integrates information on service provision (e.g., screening and outpatient visits) and human resources (medical and nursing staff) for all clinics registered in the national CLUES catalog. To construct the final panel dataset, we harmonized multiple administrative sources from the Mexican Ministry of Health, including: Servicios Otorgados en Unidades Médicas (monthly service data):http://www.dgis.salud.gob.mx/contenidos/basesdedatos/da_sis_gobmx.html Recursos en Salud (annual health workforce data):http://www.dgis.salud.gob.mx/contenidos/basesdedatos/da_recursos_gobmx.html Catálogo CLUES (facility characteristics and geolocation):http://www.dgis.salud.gob.mx/contenidos/intercambio/clues_gobmx.html Facilities were included if they had valid CLUES codes and reported complete information for at least one year during the study period. All variables were standardized to ensure temporal consistency, and no imputation was applied—missing data are explicitly flagged. The final dataset is organized as a panel at the clinic-month level, suitable for longitudinal analyses of service trends and resource distribution.
