Data on Metacognitive Strategy Use in Tourism and Hospitality Higher Education at Brusov State University, Yerevan, Armenia

The data was collected at Brusov State University in Armenia and serves as a supplemental material for the research on metacognitive strategies applied in tourism and hospitality higher education(Confidence Level. Response Results). Over one semester, students' academic progress (Test1 and Test2 Results) was evaluated by comparing their performance before and after the introduction of metacognitive strategies implemented during the second half of the semester. Throughout the study, students participated in structured self-assessments (Pre- and Post Lesson Surveys) and confidence-based evaluations to monitor their understanding and perceived competence. Statistical analysis revealed a significant improvement in academic performance, with many students reaching higher competence levels and demonstrating increased self-awareness.
