MALT1, also known as paracaspase-1 (PCASP1), was identified as a human paracaspase. And MALT1 has been observed to be associated with immune and inflammatory diseases such as arthritis, colitis, autoimmune encephalomyelitis, etc; however, the function of MALT1 in cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury remains unknown. In this study, the therapeutic effect and the possible mechanism of MALT1 siRNA on middle cerebral artery occlusion rats model was systematically investigated by RNA-Seq technology.
