Optical Mapping Data for Bioelectric Thread Electrophysiologycal and Calcium Handling Properties Under Different Conditions

This dataset demonstrate electrophysiological and calcium handling properties in our bioelectric threads/sutures under different fabrication conditions, including cell density, cell purity, and maturation protocols (long term electrical stimulation and maturation media to shift metabolic conditions). Bioelectric threads were fabricated from Matrigel coated fibrin threads seeded with 95% human-induced pluripotent stem cell derived cardiomyocytes that are >80% cardiac pure as measured by flow cytometry (cTnT+ cells) and 5% human cardiac fibroblasts.
