This dataset includes discrete profile measurements of dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC), total alkalinity, temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, nutrients and chlorofluorocarbons (CFC-11, CFC-12, CFC113) obtained during the R/V Aurora Australis cruise AA0301, CLIVAR_SR03_2001 (EXPOCODE 09AR20011029) in the Southern Ocean from 2001-10-29 to 2001-12-13. These data were collected by Bronte Tilbrook and Stephen R. Rintoul of Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO) and Christopher L. Sabine of NOAA Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory (PMEL) as part of the CARINA/09AR20011029, CLIVAR_SR03_2001 dataset. The International CLIVAR Global Ocean Carbon and Repeat Hydrography Program carries out a systematic and global re-occupation of select WOCE/JGOFS hydrographic sections to quantify changes in storage and transport of heat, fresh water, carbon dioxide (CO2), and related parameters.
