Note translation: A collection of negatives from the UTC photo collection, all Ghana. The negatives were handed over to UTC by Mr F. Jäger nfd. It would be worth while trying to achieve a more precise dating for these negatives. The oldest (0013, 0014) belong to the Ramseyer oevre from Abetifi 1888-95. Alongside these there are number of photographs of developed cocoa business - though no motor lorries. Might all the negatives be pre-1914? If so what is the photograph of a man in a kente cloth with a guitar doing (0027) - surely this is linked to advertising for highlife records (from ca. 1930)? (PJ 02.2002).
