Survey on Attitudes Towards Social Welfare in Kamanga, Lusaka, Zambia

This survey was conducted to ascertain the attitudes of low-income infromal sector workers towards social welfare. It uses conjoint analysis to determine how urban residents of Kamanga, an informal township in Zambia's capital city Lusaka, rate deservingness of social assistance on a range of attributes. Each respondent was presented with six randomly generated profiles, giving a total of 1,200 assessments of deservingness. Data for the study was collected using a survey of 200 households using a non-random sample of every fourth household.本调研旨在探究低收入非正规部门劳动者对社会福利的态度。本研究采用联合分析（conjoint analysis）方法，以确定赞比亚首都卢萨卡的非正式聚居区卡曼加的城市居民如何基于一系列属性对社会援助的应得性进行评分。每位受访者需完成六份随机生成的档案，最终累计获得1200份应得性评估数据。本研究通过对200户家庭开展调研采集数据，采用每四户抽取一户的非随机抽样方式。
