Data Repository: Exploring slip partitioning in the Southern Andes: New insights from fault slip data and crustal seismicity

This data repository contains the complete datasets used in our study on slip partitioning in central and southern Chile (32–47°S). It contains three components:1.- A harmonized global earthquake focal-mechanism catalog compiled from GCMT and ANSS/ComCat sources, filtered, merged, relocated, and classified into tectonic domains based on slab geometry and kinematic criteria.2.- A compilation of focal mechanisms from temporary and permanent local seismic networks, providing high-resolution constraints on seismicity not captured by global networks.3.- A structural geology dataset of mesoscopic fault-slip measurements collected over the past three decades, documenting fault orientations, kinematics, and P–T axis solutions.The data definition, structure and formats can be found in README.md
