This series consists of City Overseer’s reports to the Grafton Municipal Council. The reports relate to road and bridge construction and maintenance, staffing, sanitation, sewerage and drains, kerbing and guttering, footpaths, and baths.The reports were issued at least monthly and arranged chronologically in bound volumes. The Overseer was known as the City Engineer after February 1950.Custody History These files were in the custody of Clarence Valley Council until 18 August 2005 when they were transferred to the University of New England and Regional Archives.
