Biological Nitrogen Removal and in suit Microbial Community in a Two-step Feed Oxic/Anoxic/Oxic-Membrane (O/A/O-MBR) Process

Biodegradable organic matter in domestic wastewater can be reused as an essential carbon source for the biological denitrification process. A lab-scale oxic/anoxic/oxic-membrane (O/A/O-MBR) process was conducted to investigate its performance on the biological nitrogen removal. The active functional microbial community was identified using 15N-DNA-SIP.
