资源简介:
Raw data from the paper entitled "Reviewing manganese and zinc foliar fertilization approaches and results through a quantitative metadata analysis" published in the journal of soil science and plant nutritionThe metadata analysis employed 162 peer-reviewed papers published between 2012 and 2023 that are available in the Web of Science database. The following keywords and Booleans were used: "fertilizer AND (zinc OR manganese OR Zn OR Mn)”, "foliar fertilizer AND (zinc OR manganese OR Zn OR Mn)” and “leaf absorption AND (Zinc OR Manganese OR Zn OR Mn)”. The "n" in each Figure represents the number of entries generated, and these entries were counted when a single article presented different evaluations with distinct sources. Among the 1119 articles identified, only 162 met the criteria for foliar application of Mn and/or Zn in plant species such as beans, soybeans, wheat, corn, coffee, citrus fruits, rice and tomatoes. From these 162 articles, 2388 entries were generated. In the articles analyzed, 12 different treatments were identified for both elements, involving sources such as sulfate, nitrate, chloride, EDTA chelate, carbonate, oxides or unspecified commercial sources. Each manuscript was individually reviewed to retrieve the following information: (1) plant species subjects to the treatments; (2) Mn and Zn sources; (3) Mn and Zn rates; (4) Mn and Zn concentration in the spray mixture; (5) presence of associated compounds um in spray mixture; (6) number of applications/sprayings; (7) plant's phenological stage at the moment of application/spraying; (8) experimental environment (field, greenhouse or growth chamber); (9) air relative humidity during the application/spraying; (10) Mn/Zn concentration in the soil; effects on (11) yield; (12) Mn/Zn tissue concentration; (13) biomass or harvest yield.
