Complete database for neonatal pain

The database includes all the data collected during our studies on neonatal pain in 100 full term newborns. The Neonatal Infant Pain Scale and a multichannel near-infrared spectroscopy device (Hitachi ETG -00) were used to assess, respectively, the infant behavioural response and cortical response to a painful stimulation (a routine heel prick for metabolic screening). Such data wer published in 2015 (Bembich S, Cont G, Baldassi G, Bua J, Demarini S. Maternal holding vs oral glucose administration as nonpharmacologic analgesia in newborns: a functional neuroimaging study.
