Output Files of the 3D Model of the 79NG Fjord

This archive contains the output files of the three-dimensional model of the 79NG fjord in Greenland developed by Markus Reinert (2025). The output has been created with GETM and the linked model setup. Description of the files: out_geometry_2d.nc contains the model output that does not vary with time, e.g., the topography and the grid properties. out_mean_compressed.nc contains the main simulation data, i.e., the model output averaged over 1 year after the 5-year spin-up. out_sbin_0.02_cavity.nc contains the transports binned into salinity bins of 0.02 g/kg during runtime for the salinity-TEF analysis. out_zbin.nc contains the transports binned into depth bins during runtime to compute the z-streamfunction. TEF_t220.nc contains the meridionally integrated transports sorted into 220 temperature bins for the temperature-TEF analysis, computed from hourly model output with pyTEF.
