MAGIC team has investigated the initial physico-chemical parameters that differentiate UHDR from CONV irradiation as well as the downstream biological response at the normal tissue and tumor level and the work produced is providing a strong ground and open new perspectives for future investigations.19 scientific articles have been published in the frame of MAGIC: 2 related to WP1, 3 related to WP2, 3 related to WP3 and 11 related to WP4 amongst them two ranked the most cited and downloaded articles in 2022 in Clin Cancer Res and in 2023 in Ann Rev Cancer Biol, demonstrating the major impact of our work in the oncology community. Additionally, three articles are submitted, 6 are being prepared and 1 additional is foreseen. Almost 100 communications at international and national meeting have been given by the senior and young scientists associated with MAGIC. A next generation of radiation scientists has been trained. Two women PhD fellows have beensuccessfully trained and PhD thesis have been produced. One of them will remain in the FLASH field for her post-doctoral training. Three men post-doctoral fellows have been trained. Two of them have obtained permanent position to conduct FLASH research. Two men master students have been trained, one of them enrolled a PhD program to continue his work on FLASH as well as two men RTTand will continue to work and operate new FLASH devices.
