In Fall 2025, the Yale Youth Poll (YYP) conducted a survey of both young voters (ages 18–34) and the broader population of registered voters. The poll measured approval of President Trump’s job performance, preferences in the Democratic and Republican presidential primary fields, and intended party support in the 2026 midterm elections. It also examined attitudes toward antisemitism and Israel, the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA), and social capital. The survey sampled 3,426 registered voters nationwide, including an oversample of 1,706 voters aged 18–34, allowing for direct comparison between young voters and the overall electorate.
