The transcriptome of the olm (Proteus anguinus)

The study comprises a hybrid transcriptome assembly of the olm (Proteus anguinus) that was created from Illumina short-reads and ONT long-reads. The transcriptome assembly is based on samples from six organs animals: brain, gut, heart, liver, lung and skin. In addition, we used the assembled transcripts and Illumina short-reads from two to three animals per organ to profile the gene expression in the olm.
