West-Brabantse Reeën

A set of 58 wildlife camera videos showing European Roe Deer (Capreolus capreolus) exhibiting various examples of natural behaviour (e.g. grazing, browsing, walking, vigilant). The videos are from the private collection of Joke Stoop taken at Brabantse Wal (approx. 51.40503, 4.33893) and Dintelse Gorzen (approx. 51.63256, 4.26981) during spring 2026 and Slikken van de Heen (approx. 51.63232, 4.21923) between 2020 to 2026. Additionally, for each video we made an image series of one image per second using ffmpeg and the OpenCV Laplacian function to select the highest quality frame out of the frames available per second, found in the three zip files.
